简　　介

　　简（玛吉·史密斯 Maggie Smith 饰）是一名充满了魅力与热情的女教师，虽然身处校规森严的女子学校中，但在她的课堂上，没有照本宣科的枯燥教学，有的只是她从内心释放出的对美与力量的赞美和向往。简对政治尤为热衷，单纯而追求浪漫的她崇拜法西斯主义的激进与纯粹，并将这一想法灌输给了她的学生们，没想到，她的莽撞态度却间接导致了一名学生的死亡。
另一方面，不按常理出牌的简一直都是保守刻板的校长麦凯小姐（西莉亚·约翰逊 Celia Johnson 饰）的眼中钉肉中刺，她巴不得找一个由头将这个大麻烦赶出学校，当简深深喜爱和信赖的一名学生敲响她办公室的门时，麦凯小姐知道，机会来了。
